Privacy Policy

STube:Offline Music ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and — equally important — what we do not collect.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Subscription & Quota Data (Stored Locally)

Your subscription status and usage counters (daily AI generation count, daily download count, monthly subscription quota, bonus quota earned from rewarded ads) are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server we control. Subscription entitlements are verified on-device through Apple StoreKit 2 and are tied to your Apple ID, not to any identifier we generate.

We do not assign you a user ID, account ID, or any persistent anonymous identifier. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored quota and usage data.

1.2 AI Generation Prompts

Text prompts and lyrics you provide for AI music generation are sent to a third-party AI music generation service for processing. We do not store your prompts on any server we control. A short local history of your generations (prompt text and generated audio URL) is kept on your device so you can replay past results; this history never leaves your device.

1.3 Advertising Data

For Free Plan users, we use Google AdMob to display app-open, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect device information and advertising identifiers as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Personalized advertising is only enabled after you grant App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission; otherwise, non-personalized ads are shown. Subscribers (Basic and Premium) do not see ads, and no advertising data is collected for them.

1.4 Analytics & Crash Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to improve app stability and understand how features are used. This data includes:

• Crash reports: Technical information about app crashes, including device model, OS version, and stack traces.
• Usage events: Anonymous interactions such as search queries, playback actions, download events, AI generation events, and feature usage frequency.
• Performance data: App launch time and general performance metrics.

This data is not linked to your real-world identity and is used solely for improving app quality and user experience. You can learn more in Firebase's Privacy Information.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not require account registration or login.
• We do not operate a backend server that stores user data. All personalized data lives on your device.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or location.
• We do not track your music listening history on any server.

3. Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: Handles subscription purchases and entitlement verification. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: Displays ads to Free Plan users. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• AI music generation service provider: Processes the text prompts and lyrics you submit for AI music generation. The provider's own privacy policy governs how it handles such data.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Collects anonymous usage and crash data. Subject to Firebase's Privacy Information.

4. Data Storage & Security

All subscription, quota, and usage data is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism, within your app's sandboxed storage. We do not operate a backend server that stores user data. Network communications with third-party services are secured via HTTPS.

5. Data Deletion

Since all personalized data (subscription state, quota counters, usage counts, generation history) is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app will permanently remove this data. We do not retain any user data on our servers because we do not operate such servers for user data. If you wish to reset your quota state without uninstalling, you can clear the app's storage in iOS Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
